Book Synopsis

An ancient Prophecy predicts that a Daughter of Arkomo will one day destroy the Four Kingdoms. That’s what everyone believes—but Sorel, Arkomo’s only Princess,  knows they’re reading it wrong. Using her magical ability to hide in plain sight, Sorel lives in secret in the Princes’ Keep, a castle that’s home to Arkomo’s one hundred Princes. Sorel is convinced that the correct interpretation of the Prophecy spells doom for the Princes but if she reveals her identity to warn them, she’ll be condemned to death. One night Sorel opens a magical Doorway into a strange world—the place she calls Hospital. There, she meets Grace.

Grace Woodward has just been diagnosed with cancer. She hates the hospital and the illness that’s stolen her life from her. She’s depressed, in pain, and about to give up until she meets Sorel—a child only she can see and learns about Arkomo—a world that once existed in her dreams. Together Grace and Sorel might have the power to save Arkomo’s one hundred Princes—and maybe each other—but they’re both running out of time.
