Description

Children Ages 7-12

Come for an adventure with Wild Earth! Games, fire building, tracking, and more!

Sign up your kids now for our 3-day Spring Break Camp (April 15, 16, 17) and give them three days of nature immersion, adventure, creativity and more. It’ll be an experience that they’ll never forget.

The Camp is three days of ancestral and primitive skills such as carving, working on animal hides and crafts, making spoons,  weaving ground mats, friction fire, tracking, aidless navigation, outdoor cooking, games, storytelling, and more!

- Play and explore the beautiful winter outdoors.
- Depending upon the weather conditions we will be: playing games, building fires, tracking animals, building shelters and more.
- Experience and practice a variety of wilderness skills and native technology.
- Practice awareness, quiet-mind, animal forms, curiosity, exploration, telling the story of the day, and gratitude.
- Face personal and group challenges tailored to build awareness, self-confidence, and group unity.

The camp day begins with giving thanks, songs and silly movement games to wake up our bodies and minds. The day will be spent in smaller groups adventuring and exploring the woods, building snow forts, following animal trails and playing with fire.

The days will be filled with nature-based games that expand our awareness, storytelling from skilled instructors and visiting elders, songs inspired by nature’s beauty, fire challenges and campfire-brewed nature teas.

At the end of the day, with rosy-cheeked smiles on our faces, we’ll return from our adventures to the larger circle where we share stories from our day.
