Talesha Byrd superstar Model/Actress/Host/Singer is best know from MTV's "8th & Ocean" fame. She’s a southern girl from St.Petersburg, Fla. That began entering and winning beauty pageants and model searches at an early age. At the age of 13 she entered the "Manhattan Model Search" in which she was offered contracts from several top modeling agencies including Ford, Next, and Elite. Signing with Elite NY. While in High School her career blossomed working with her hometown agency Alexa Talent while traveling and working Talesha was spotted by Irene Marie Management Group in Miami, Fl and was signed immediately.

Irene Marie was impressed not only with her modeling abilities but her level of professionalism and dedication to both the modeling. After graduating High School La Models/ New York models noticed her when she entered their annual model competition LA Looks Contest. Talesha would go on to win runner up. She then moved to New York City and in her first year there she shot for campaigns for Tommy Jeans and Union Bay. She graced magazines such as Marie Claire, Essence, Vibe, etc. and also walked the runway for Richard Tyler, St. Johns, Rock & Republic and Baby Phat to name a few.

Soon after moving to Los Angeles she has been a featured model on NBC “Fashion Star” 2 season in a row. Booked numerous commercials with Budweiser, Dentyne Ice with Marlon Wayans, Coors Light, and Payless to name a few. Talesha has definitely established herself in the modeling industry, and since moving to Los Angeles has fallen in love with the acting. Soon signing with Momentum Talent and is looking to take the acting world by storm.
