Years of research, lead to the identification of the ideal “terroir” that could offer the highest concentration of aromas and flavors. Bodega Catena Zapata pioneered the discovery of the ideal high altitude microclimate for each particular varietal. Domingo Vicente Catena Malbec 2010 is a blend of Malbec grapes sourced from two different vineyards. The "Angélica" Vineyard confers ripe plum flavors, silkiness and good volume on the palate. "La Pirámide" Vineyard adds black berry fruit and spicy notes of black pepper and clove. 18 months in French oak.
