Own a piece of History - A Queen Elizabeth I (1533-1603)Indenture/Deed dated 1589 (424 years ago!), the second year of her reign.  She ascended the throne in 1588, after years of suffering and being declared illegitimate by her own father, Henry VIII.  She is considered one of England's most successful rulers.

An indenture is so-called because two copies of the document were made, head to head, and then cut in a wavy pattern, producing a copy for each party.  The authenticity of both copies were assured by being able to fit perfectly the wavy-cut pattern of each.
