About The Little Flower Market
The Little Flower Market started in 1997 when six sisters decided to open a small retail business that would provide the freshest flowers to the Bonnie Brae neighborhood. With the help of their parents, the DeLine girls threw themselves into the small business, taking as their moto: “We are in the people business selling flowers”. Making people happy is their main priority and their secret to success is that they let the flowers do the work.
Before the shop opened in 1997, the DeLine Family went on pilgrimage to Spain and France. There they developed a devotion to the French saint, Therese of Lisieux. She was known as the “little flower of Jesus” and it is after her that the DeLine sisters decided to name their flower shop. With a picture of a little French provincial girl hanging in the back work room, it is she who watches over the daily operations of the shop.
It is to her, that the DeLine sisters owe their success in the flower business and it is with the ‘little way’ of doing the ordinary things with extraordinary love that they strive to bring joy and happiness, by way of flowers, to all their customers…
