"How you dress today is how you will be perceived tomorrow." - Homer Reed

In 1951, Homer Edwin Reed purchased a small men's clothing store in downtown Denver with the dream of providing the finest in menswear to the town's growing population. Homer started his business with the belief that men should dress for where they wish to be in life in order to actually get there. With a keen eye, an impeccable sense of style and lots of hard work, he built his company into one of the nation's top small retailers catering to not only the local businessman but world-famous customers like Dwight D. Eisenhower, Sammy Davis Jr., Tony Bennett, Elizabeth Taylor, Arnold Palmer, Magic Johnson, Tab Hunter, George Burns, Debbie Reynolds and Howard Cosell. Although Homer retired in 2000 his legacy of service, selection and style continues today and Homer Reed is proud to outfit the sons and grandsons of many of our original customers.

Now...

In 2000 Mark Edwin Reed, Homer's son, purchased the business with the goal of carrying on his father's vision for a store that combined the old-world feel of a classic men's store with a modern mix of clothing, both formal and casual. Mark grew up in the business, spending his earliest years in a playpen in the back of the store before moving on to delivering gifts, running errands and helping out on the sales floor. He has truly learned the business from the ground up.
