At Balance Health + Wellness, our emphasis is, indeed, on proper instruction. True Pilates instructors, like those on our staff, are uncommon. Small wonder, because certified instructors must complete rigorous apprenticeship training, and few people are ready to make that commitment.

All of the instructors at Balance are certified … and all have studied under Romana Kryzanowska, the leading authority on Pilates today, who spent 30 years under the tutelage of Joseph Pilates himself. Each Balance instructor has completed extensive academic study, over 600 apprenticeship hours, and a series of rigorous qualifying examinations.
