Three hours of coaching (3 one hour sessions) to write that college essay! With Dr. Steve Farmilant.

Dr. Steve Farmilant, a Clinical Psychologist and writer in Chicago, will provide three hours of coaching to help your college-bound teen write a basic college essay.  

Since the “mission statement” of the writer is often difficult to identify, the first hour will consist of crystallizing the topic of the paper based on the writer’s personal and academic goals and generating a basic outline.  The second hour will be used to edit the essay for organization and clarifying the writer’s voice.  In the third hour, the final draft will be edited for grammar and punctuation, flow, and continuity to ensure a clean and readable essay.  The basic essay can be tailored to the requirements of individual schools.  The meetings will be held at a mutually convenient time at Dr. Farmilant’s office at the corner of Michigan and Wacker Avenues.
