Millwood Farms Golf Course was built in 1968 by Anne and Bill Drake and has been owned and operated by the Drake family for 45 years. Millwood is located on the historic site of Millwood Farms, an award winning dairy farm, long considered one of the "Jewels of Middlesex County". The site of Millwood Farms Golf Course was the heart of an operating farm since the 1680s.
Millwood was originally built as a 9 hole course until 1976 when adjacent land was purchased to add an additional 5 holes, making Millwood the unique 14-hole golf course it is today.
