Once again, Tri for a Cure sold out in record time - and you missed out on the opportunity to participate in this all women's sprint triathlon to benefit the Maine Cancer Foundation on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 7:30am. You are in luck, the Maine Cancer Foundation has generously donated an entry to our Annual Online Auction!
About the event:
Founded in 2008 by Julie Marchese and Abby Bliss, the Tri for a Cure has become the largest triathlon in the state of Maine, providing a gorgeous race course along the shores of Cape Elizabeth and South Portland. This event consists of a USAT-sanctioned 1/3 mile swim, a 15 mile bike ride and a 3.1 mile run. Click here to see a course map.
Special Instructions
Winning bidder is still responsible for raising the minimum $350 to support the Maine Cancer Foundation required of all athletes by July 17, 2014. The Cancer Community Center is a grant recipient of the Maine Cancer Foundation. Winning bidder will be given contact information at the end of the auction to complete their registration which must be completed by May 1, 2014.
