Description
The Maine Cancer Foundation has generously donated an entry to the Twilight 5k on Thursday June 12, 2014 to the CCC's 11th Annual Online Auction! Hosted on the breathtaking Southern Maine Community College campus in South Portland, this inspirational event is open to individuals and teams, ages 10 and up. Each runner commits to a fundraising minimum of $100 to fight cancer, although many individuals raise much more. The race finishes with a live band, awards and a food & beer tent donated by local businesses. This event will sell out!
About the Event
The Twilight 5K originally started as a warm up race for the all-women's Tri for a Cure, but the event has grown into its own right and has become popular with family groups and first-time runners. In 2012, the Twilight 5K attracted over 750 male and female runners and raised more than $120,000 to help fight cancer here in the state of Maine.

Special Instructions
Winning bidder is still responsible for raising the minimum $100 to support the Maine Cancer Foundation required of all athletes by June 10, 2014. The Cancer Community Center is a grant recipient of the Maine Cancer Foundation. Winning bidder will be given contact information at the end of the auction to complete their registration.
