Ten lucky kids will get to join Stella and August Kalaba for this fun and oh-so-yummy cupcake extravaganza on Sunday, April 13th from 12 - 3 PM.

A decadent array of cupcake flavors, frostings and edible decorations await each little designer-in-training.  Hostess Traci Kalaba will demonstrate how to use pastry bags and tips to create different effects with the frostings.  Older students (or just eager ones!) will be given the opportunity to learn how to create flowers and letters with royal icing. Each child in attendance will receive hands-on guidance in creating their cupcake designs, as well as have the opportunity to go full-out freestyle with their decorating techiniques.  Partygoers will each get a  total of 6 cupcakes to decorate (two to eat and 4 boxed up to take home).

Worried about the sugar rush?  Have no fear!  Traci is planning a spread of healthy and delicious lunch items including fruit skewers and tea sandwiches for this event to ensure your little cupcake designer doesn't fill up on too many treats.  

All party attendees will receive a handmade apron or smock to use while they construct their sweet concoctions, as well as a chef hat.  These gifts are theirs to take home after the event, along with their boxed-up cupcakes!
