Orchid expert Tom Purviance will host a lecture/demo on orchids for you and your friends at your home, club, church, or anywhere that's convenient for you, within a two-hour drive of Bucks County, PA.

Tom Purviance was the owner of Parkside Orchid Nursery for 25 years and has sold the business to retire.   He spends his time teaching and lecturing at some of the leading horticultural organizations in the United States like Longwood Gardens and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden where he recently led an all-day Orchid Immersion course. 

He appeared on the Martha Stewart Radio and Television network.

His lecture will cover topics like,  The History of Orchid Collecting,   the most popular types of orchids available today, the basic cultural/care information you need to be a successful home orchid grower, and the current state of the orchid industry as a multi-billion dollar international business.
