The Barnacle, a family owned business, hopes to fill a niche in the local community giving shoppers a store at which to purchase brand name and quality items geared toward men: clothing, accessories and gift items. Some women's items are available, too.

The Barnacle has also donated a men's fleece jacket which is up for bidding separately in the silent auction at the library.
