Based on the dinosaur curriculum, second grade students created a Fossil Collage.  Using polymer clay and a paint wash made of crushed chalk each child was given various plants, bones and shells from which to choose, creating individual and unique fossils. Magnets have been attached to the back of each fossil and the frame has been fitted with a metal sheet, covered in handmade paper, allowing an interactive display and gallery of the fossils.  Art meets play in this one-of-a-kind masterpiece, created by the class of 2024 (Ms. Milmore's 2M class).
