Our idea this year was to create a Pageant of the Masters version of George Seurat's famous painting, "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" Campbell Hall style.  The kids came dressed in their Sunday best and had fun posing over green screen, while Peter Moyer worked magic with his camera.   The background is a composite of three different parks in Los Angeles, and once the children were added, the final image was treated with a pointillistic effect to match the texture of Seurat's painting.  If you look closely, you will see our beloved 4th grade teachers rounding out the painting with their good cheer.  We hope we have captured the joy that was present while creating this project (Mrs. Kainz's 4K class).
