We talked about a lot of ideas and mediums, pop art and Andy Warhol's portraits being one of them. We all agreed that we wanted the project to be sentimental (it IS Kindergarten) and we wanted the kids to really do it themselves, but it also needed to be a beautiful and cool piece of art. We settled on the self-portraits, experimented with various mediums both paint and paper and ended up with watercolor on canvas. We printed the photos on the canvas and let the kids go for it creatively. We hope that everyone loves the work they made.
