In the past two years, Il Volo have performed all over the world, released a pair of massively-selling albums, joined legendary songstress Barbra Streisand on tour, and taken the stage for two highly acclaimed PBS specials.   Their singular blend of masterful vocal performance, timeless sensibility, and disarmingly youthful spirit has also garnered them two 2014 nominations for the LATIN BILLBOARD AWARDS as ARTST OF THE YEAR for Top Latin Albums and for Latin Pop Albums.

Formed in 2009, Il Volo first enchanted audiences on a grand scale with their appearance on the popular Italian musical variety show Ti Lascio Una Canzone that same year. After captivating the show's viewers with their rendition of the Neapolitan standard "O Sole Mio," Il Volo instantly stepped into the international spotlight. Quickly landing a worldwide recording deal with Universal Music Group—and earning the distinction of becoming the first Italian artists to sign with a U.S. label—Il Volo set to work on their debut album in Los Angeles, Rome, and London (where they recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios).

In 2010, the Italian pop vocal trio released their self-titled debut in Italy which was certified platinum. The group's second studio album We Are Love pushed further into pop territory while sustaining the classic sensibility at the heart of their sound. In May 2013, Il Volo followed up their sophomore release with We Are Love (Special Edition), a 12-track offering that includes the group's deeply moving renditions of One Direction's "Little Things," Sarah McLachlan's "Angel," Elton John's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight," and West Side Story's "Maria." Most recently, the group released Buon Natale: The Christmas Album(Interscope Records) accompanied by a brand-new PBS special that premiered in November 2013.
