Combat Devotions, a book by Former U.S. Marine and GCS Parent, John Dale Gardner, is a devotional guide written specifically for military members and others whose jobs place them in harm's way. During his deployment to Iraq, Gardner found himself reading through his Bible and making notes about verses that had particular relevance to his situation as a Marine squad leader guiding his troops. For years after his return home, his mind kept returning to his notebook of devotional verses and thoughts that he kept in Iraq. Combat Devotions is his way of creating an inspiration guide for anyone who is uncertain or worries about life and what God wants for them.
