Your Red Finch child will be so proud to have this artwork at home!

This beautiful painted canvas, created by the Red Finch children, was inspired by a lesson on peace. During P week, the teachers read both “The Peace Book” by Todd Parr and “Fill a Bucket” by Carol McCloud and had several discussions with the children about what it means to be peaceful, such as being nice and doing something kind for someone, because these actions bring peace to our hearts.

The Red Finch children all shared what they felt peace is. They each chose their favorite color, and participated in painting the Peace sign.
