Science Teacher Sarah is an experienced, dynamic teacher who teaches children out of the traditional realm.

Fun, full of thousands of facts and always willing to listen to children, Sarah has delighted them with hands-on science from Brooklyn to Riverside and everywhere in between.

Science Adventure Camp has something for everyone! In summer our days begin with the group meeting at the park for an introduction to the day’s events by Science Teacher Sarah. In bad weather we meet in the classroom. On in-class days we do hands-on projects while we learn various themes, such as: biology, evolution, plants, animals, biodiversity, astronomy, chemistry, aviation, atoms, molecules, science of ancient cultures, and more! We also have the option of Animal Care and Petting where Junior Scientists learn about our animals and help take care of them.

We traditionally take three trips a week, going to various wonderful places to learn about science in and around New York City. These places may include: Bronx Zoo, Queens Hall of Science, Cradle of Aviation, Atlantis Aquarium, American Museum of the Moving Image, New York Aquarium, and the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge.

Located at 112 W. 14th St., NYC
