Chef Mary Ann, proud mother of Ross Flatt, a 6th grade teacher at Q2L, will prepare and serve a 4 course food and wine pairing dinner at your home for 6 people.
Mary Ann Mango Flatt divides her creative passions between the cutting board and the keyboard. Classically trained as a pianist at Crane School of Music SUNY Potsdam, she learned the joys of old-school Italian food and table from the women in her Italian family. She always pursued both - music professionally and food with friends and family. Mary Ann deepened her knowledge and elevated her skills in modern Italian cuisine with extensive studies at the Italian Culinary Institute in New York and Emilia-Romagna, Italy and practiced in the kitchen of Pashá Ristorante in Puglia. Currently, she brings together her “Old School meets New School” philosophy as a private chef teaching and orchestrating intimate gatherings in Northern, NJ and Scottsdale, AZ . Currently in the heart of Sonoma Wine Country, she is the private chef for DW and Christopher Creek Wineries preparing menus and dinners for their food and wine pairing events.
Note: Last summer Chef Mary Ann prepared a lovely seasonal dinner at one of the parent's Connecticut home.

Guests must be over the age of 21 to legally enjoy alcoholic beverages. Host will alert the Chef to any food allergies or other food restrictions to be aware of. Chef Mary Ann will discuss your kitchen arrangements and space, BBQ possibilities or any other helpful information about your space to prepare a suitable menu.
