The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the world's largest spectator sporting facility, with more than 250,000 permanent seats. It plays host annually to the IndyCar Series’ Indianapolis 500 race on a 2.5-mile oval track. The 500 miles each year become a circular path to immortality for the winner. No other race in the world has legends, traditions and statistics like the Indianapolis 500 race.

Drivers Meeting – On the day prior to the Indianapolis 500 race, a public drivers meeting is held on the pit road where the qualified drivers receive their starters' rings and other pre-race awards, followed by autograph sessions.

Hall of Fame Museum - The Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum, located five miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis on the grounds of the famous Speedway, is recognized as one of the most highly visible museums in the world devoted to automobiles and auto racing. Approximately 75 vehicles are on display at all times, as well as the equipment and methods used for timing and scoring the Indianapolis 500, and an extensive trophy collection including the famed Borg-Warner Trophy.
