What is a Paddle Raise? At our Live Auction event, our auctioneer will asks for guests to raise their paddles to make a monetary donation towards Technology for every classroom at Glenwood. We will ask for a paddle raise in various denominations. If you, or people you know, could not attend the Le Cirque but would like to participate in this important paddle raise, you can BUY NOW!
Special Instructions
Our goal is to...
• Raise $12,000 to divide amongst our 19+ classrooms. Funds will be allocated equally to each teacher to help them purchase the items that they feel they need the most. Some may elect to use the funds toward a computer, some toward a wireless printer for their classroom, but either way the students win.
• Purchase updated classroom computers to facilitate technology as tools for learning. Many of our machines are dated and becoming obsolete faster than we can purchase new ones. The district has put a lot of money into the computer lab in preparation for the new online assessments, but the classrooms need help.
• Purchase wireless printers for the classroom. In order to be able to print from our iPads, we need some wireless printers on campus. The lab will have one soon, but the classrooms will need them eventually as use increases.
