During an energy audit, we will observe your house looking for ways in which you can lower your electric and fuel consumption.  We inspect insulation values in both the attic and basement and the exterior walls in some circumstances.  We will also test the heating system for safety and efficiency, in addition to running a blower door test to measure the air flow in the house.  These tests provide us with information, so we can make recommendations to improve the home's energy efficiency. The recommendations typically are to increase the insulation levels in your home.
