The Chanaa brothers, Adam and Jay, opened their first Ali Baba location in Dallas on Lower Greenville in 1989. They quickly expanded to several locations and nearly25 years later, Ali Baba Mediterranean Grill is still an i conic hot spot for the lunch buffet and dinner around Dallas.

In 2012 Adam and Jay wanted to open their doors a little wider and allow more people to experience their cuisine. GRIP Mediterranean Grill was added to the family as a fast-casual concept. The menu showcases a custom sandwich wrapped in a 10-inch pita, a GRIP, and a selection of salads, traditional plates and several sides.
