When you think of iconic animated movies, like Kung Fu Panda, Despicable Me 2, and Ice Age, you might not know that some of the work on those projects has been done in your own backyard!  Over the past 20 years, Reel FX, an award-winning animation, visual effects and design studio based here in Dallas, Texas, has worked with every major studio from DreamWorks Animation to Warner Bros. to 20^th Century FOX. They are now creating their own feature films, including 2013’s Free Birds (starring Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler) and 2014’s upcoming The Book of Life (starring Channing Tatum, Zoe Saldana and Diego Luna). Reel FX is also responsible for some of the most notable commercials, music videos and theme park rides like The Simpsons Ride and Despicable Me Minion Mayhem at Universal Studios Orlando.

Take home a basket of Reel FX goodies and a DVD collection of some of their most notable projects, then head to the studio and go behind the scenes of an animated movie production with a VIP tour.  Invite up to 10 guests (2 must be adults), ages 4 and up and experience artists at work, a private screening of their latest work and an in-person chat with an artist or executive about how animated films are made.
