This Painting, "Square Root Three Rectangle" is acrylic and wood on board and measures 22" x 32". It is from his Sacred Geometry series of 2005.

Louis Nuyens started teaching art in 1969 in San Francisco. His portraits, sculpture and paintings have been exhibited in many venues in the Bay Area as well as internationally. He has taught calligraphy, drawing, painting, sculpture, architectural design, and art history. He is well known as the portrait artist of the Dickens and Renaissance Faires since 1977, and is the grandfather of Guilia Veneziano from the Open Classroom.
