The picture of the two bald eagles was taken at Isleta Lakes where at least 6 or 7 were flying around the area catching prey. The picture was also seen on KOAT TV on February 27 at the 10 PM news. The image is framed. Framed dimensions: 12"h x 15"w
Donna Bauer is a big fan of the Home of Happy Feet on Tuesday nights on KUNM. Ms. Bauer has been a long-time volunteer during KUNM pledge drives on behalf of Albuquerque Folk Festival. She has been involved in the Folk Fest since its inception and for which she currently serves on the board.
About Donna: I am a long time resident of Albuquerque and attended public schools and UNM for a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and really loved teaching the children in three different elementary schools: Lavaland, East San Jose and Mary Ann Binford.
I keep busy not only in photography but as an usher at Pope Joy Hall, managing a dance center, member of the board of directors for the Albuquerque Folk Festival, directing an open jam of beginning musicians and just recently organizing the volunteers for the Banjo and Fiddle contest in Santa Fe.

My renewed interest in photography began about three years ago when I retired from APS. I love going out of town since I have been retired and I go on trips through the Senior Centers and Sun Tours. When I travel to exciting places especially in New Mexico I always have my camera with me.
As I began to take photos people began to take an interest in them and wanted copies of them. With that in mind I began to market them at different arts and craft fairs in the city. I started out with 8X10 photos that were matted by Create A Frame and then graduated to greeting cards that I put together at home. Within the last several months I graduated to putting the images on T-shirts (white) and just recently began to put the images on mugs. At the present time I take orders for the T-shirts and the mugs. Folks are more than welcome to contact me at: dfbauer@aol.com

When you bid please note:
- The winner of each auction lot will receive an e-mail following the completion of the auction on May 29, 2014 with pick up/delivery options.The auction ends at 9pm MT on May 29, 2014. If you want to pick up your items in person we need to hear a response from you by NOON May 30, 2014 so that we can have your things ready for you.
- You will have pick up options with specific times in Albuquerque (Friday and Saturday) and Santa Fe (Sunday and Monday). We will offer KUNM station tours on Saturday for bidders as well.
- The charge for shipping will be $5 for gift certificates and other items that would fit in a letter-sized envelope. All other items will be charged actual shipping charges, plus insurance. We start getting items ready to ship on the Monday after the auction and send them out as soon as we can following the shipping information you have supplied to bid in this auction. Please make sure your address and credit card information is correct and up to date.
- Please mark your calendar for the Taste and See event at KUNM in Albuquerque on May 22. This is a chance to see the artwork and jewelry and taste and experience some of the wonderful treats and services in this auction, visit with the donors and other bidders and tour KUNM’s studios. PLEASE NOTE: You must be a registered bidder or donor to attend this event.
