A Jewish Deli in New Mexico!!

YES, it's true

and it's the real deal too.

said some New York Jews

on hearing the news.

A bagel and lox

to knock off your sox;

pastrami and rye

you're destined to sigh;

matzoh ball soup and knish

oh my gawd, how delish!

Yes, the news is worthy of a rhyme and for many folks (not just Jewish ones) the idea of a Jewish deli in their town is a dream come true.

Alisa Young, a transplant from Los Angeles, obviously knew what she was doing when she opened Nosh, given the throngs of people who have made a beeline to her restaurant since it opened in Albuquerque’s Nob Hill area.  No doubt there has been a deep yearning for an establishment just like this one.

For those initiated and those not into the fineries of Jewish deli fare, here are a few of the menu choices for breakfast and/or lunch with your Gift Card from Nosh:

noodle kugel,  matzo ball soup, potato latkes, bagel and lox, challah French toast, a tempeh reuben and much more.  Oh, let’s not forget the desserts - rugelach, chocolate babka, NY cheesecake plus more.  It’s food to die for say many Jews who like to equate dying with things that give them great pleasure!
