Opened in 1976, the Joel Hall Dance Center is one of Chicago’s largest dance education facilities. With more than 150 adult and children’s classes per week, the curriculum ranks among the most extensive in the Midwest. Choose from ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern and other styles. You’ll be learning your steps at the same place the resident company, the Joel Hall Dancers, perfects its routines. ABOUT: The Joel Hall Dancers have a long, rich history beginning with the company's inception in 1974. Over the years, JHD has performed both locally and globally, dazzling audiences in venues throughout the Chicagoland area, across the country, and overseas. Joel has shared his choreographic gifts throughout the arts community, working with theater and film productions in the Chicago area.
