Enjoy the perfect afternoon with a private barrel sampling, wine tasting and tour of Woodhall Wine Cellars in Parkton, Maryland. Learn how wines are created as you and eleven of your friends sample some of Maryland’s finest wines.
Woodhall wines are tasted in a rustic, historic tasting room fashioned from a late-1800's carriage building and corn crib. Much of the original wooden-pegged, mortise and tenon post and beams, and two "harness traces" (Ask them what they are when you get there!) remain. The tasting room now opens out onto a 30' X 34' covered deck in full view of the vineyard.
The laid-back atmosphere makes tasting fun and relaxing, and comfortable chairs and tables both inside and out beckon to those who have time to stop and share a bottle or sip a glass.
Tastings are generally conducted on weekends at 12, 2, and 4pm, or at the end of the day during the week.
