Started in 1981, South Mountain Creamery has evolved and expanded over the years.  Randy and Kate Sowers began the farm with 100 dairy cows.  The first home deliveries began in 2001 with 13 customers.  Currently they service 7,000 customers!

South Mountain isn't just a dairy farm.  They also sell eggs as well as beef, pork, and chicken from the farm.  Lamb either comes from the farm at South Moutain or another family member's farm.

So, take a drive to Middletown for a tour of South Mountain Creamery.  See first hand what it's like when 20 cows are milked at one time.  Watch baby calves being fed.  This would make for a fascinating school field trip or family outing.
