Special Instructions

Bio: María Villares was born in Havana, Cuba, in 1969. The daughter of a writer mother and a painter father, she showed an early vocation for painting and literature and expanded these facets through experimentation in other fields of art such as theater, music and dance. She was a founder of the theater group: Gigantería Ambulante, participating in many events and festivals. She studied Fine Arts at LondonMetropolitanUniversityand has exhibited her art work in Cuba, the UK, Italy, and Spain.
