Only in Brooklyn does an 11 year-old get to play with molten glass after school yo. 

In this intro to glassblowing taught by Emma Stein at UrbanGlass (it's on Fulton just next to BAM Harvey y'all!) kids age 11 + gather molten glass from the furnace and manipulate and shape it through heat, gravity and blowing. Students get to use traditional glassblowing tools to create tumblers, vases, bowls and other ultra-cool stuff yet to be imagined. Move over wood, the glass just moved to town and man does it have class!
