"I am a mostly self-taught landscape artist who prefers to work on-site. My medium of choice is soft pastels because they are so deliciously messy and endlessly blend-able. The natural world, particularly the wilds surrounding my high desert home in Moab, Utah, serves as my primary subject matter. I enjoy getting way out there when I can, traveling by foot when possible and by whitewater raft, bicycle, or pick-up truck when it's not. I have work in many private collections and a few public ones."
