All iTAN tanning consultants are SMART Tan Certified, which means they are trained to educate you on the best way to tan for your individual skin type. Tanners experience controlled UV exposures to gradually develop natural sunscreen, often called a “base tan”. By building a base tan, you can prepare your skin for the outdoors, taking a balanced approach to tanning. Remember, the golden rule of tanning is to never sunburn!
