Winner gets a free week long half-day camp class, Shark Tank, Jr., at The Chyten Center in Newton!
In Shark Tank Jr., students play the role of young entrepreneurs as they start with the germ of an idea for a product and business and take it through the entire entrepreneurial process. Loosely based on the TV show Shark Tank, our students develop prototypes, formulate a business plan and devise a marketing strategy. Meanwhile, students learn through contextual lessons on concepts such as wages, profits and branding while designing print ads, acting out “TV commercials,” researching real estate locations and creating replicas of their storefronts. The class concludes with our young executives pitching their ideas to a celebrity panel of parent “sharks.” These young executives will really be taking care of business!
Shark Tank, Jr. is one of a series of hands-on, real-life learning camps and classes for elementary and middle-school offered by The Chyten Center this summer. Offered as half day camps, two different camps can be paired to create a full day program for your child.

Checks preferred for payment. Checks to be made out to FRANKLIN PTO. Credit Cards (visa, mc) accepted, instructions for using credit cards will be in winner’s email.
Do pickup (below) or Mail Checks to: JULIET HARRISON, FRANKLIN PTO, 160 RANDLETT PARK, WEST NEWTON, MA 02465. We will mail items upon receipt of payment.
If You Wish To Pickup: We will be at the top of the stairs INSIDE Franklin Elementary on Wednesdays (March 19, March 26 and April 2) from 8:20-8:40a.m. to distribute winner’s items and collect payment. We are happy to make alternate pick up/collection arrangements as necessary, just email us to arrange.
