Lessons for up to eight at Trapeze Arts in Oakland. Kids must be over 8.
"Fly through the air with the greatest of ease"! During your session, you'll be shown how to hang by your knees on a stationary bar then it's right up the ladder to the flying trapeze! You will practice the knee hang position for execution and timing, with the goal at the end of the session to make a mid air connection with our "catcher". If you can stand it an additional 1/2 hour is included for tightwire, juggling, trampoline or other circus activities.
During your lesson I will be directing a few Nueva unpaid interns ( read: ninth graders HA! ) in shooting video and high speed still photography.
The results will be edited into a DVD package you can play at home.
