According to Asian Palate writer Jeannie Cho Lee, "The nose and palate has cooked fruits rather than fresh, lifted flavours, which is quite surprising given Ridge's tendency to pick at optimal ripeness rather than over-ripeness. Palate displays flavours of prunes, dried figs, and ripe black fruit flavours." She advises, "At peak, drink soon."
