Clogging Lesson with Heather

Item Number: 7088
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Did you know that clogging is one of America's oldest folk dances, originating in the Appalachian Mountains as early immigrants blended the step dances from their home nations? Clogging is also considered the "grandfather" of tap. Today, cloggers all over the world dance to a wide variety of music, including country/western, hip hop, pop, swing, along with many more genres! Nueva Japanese teacher, Heather Nodelman, a clogger for thirty years, presently dances with the ODC Mussel Rock Clogging Team in San Francisco. For this lesson, you will have an hour of her time to learn the basics of clogging. It's time to let your feet make some music!
