Two beginner Belay Lessons at Planet Granite. The belay lesson teaches you to manage the ropes for the climber on our taller walls (called belaying). Belay lessons are offered everyday except Wednesday. A beginner belay lesson includes gear rental (shoes and harness) and a one day pass. At the end of class, students will receive a temporary belay card so they can continue to climb and belay for the rest of the day! To earn a permanent belay card, each person will need to come back on a separate day and take their belay test (no reservation necessary -- however, during busy hours, there might be a wait to take the test). Reservations are strongly recommended as classes do fill up.
