Beekeeper and District grandpa Greg Gran will give a fun, interactive and educational presentation on the mighty honey bee for your child's class, scout troop or party up to 25 children. Discover the life cycle of bees and explore hive activity. Examine up close a real bee hive (without the bees) and learn how honey is extracted from the comb. This fascinating presentation is one hour, but kids get so engaged they often ask questions for another hour! Appropriate for 1st graders and older. Held at a location of your choice with a date to be mutually agreed upon. If desired, the presentation may be given to a group of adults instead of children. Includes three 1-lb. jars of Greg Gran's locally-harvested raw wildflower honey to enjoy after the event.
