Join Catherine Carlton, Mayor Pro Tem of Menlo Park, for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Menlo Park City Council Chambers and City Hall. Open to a 4th-8th grade student after school on November 12th or 13th - a minimum day - the Mayor for A Day, accompanied by his or her parent, will begin the visit with an official lunch meeting with the Mayor Pro Tem.

After lunch, take meetings with Mayor Ray Mueller and key city staff, who will explain the Public Works, Traffic, and Planning Departments for Menlo Park. Tour the Police Department, meeting our wonderful police dog, and enjoy an exciting ride-along in a police car with an officer who is on duty that day. The ride-along may also include a visit and tour of our new police substation in Belle Haven.
