Bring the advanced training at the Reading & Writing Institute  at Columbia University Teachers College to our teachers. This FUND-A-NEED will enable our teachers in ALL grades K-8 to attend workshops during the summer, helping them to help our children better develop writing and reading skills. 

This program emphasizes: "holding students accountable for doing their best work, using literature to help students craft their writing, and implementing classroom structures that support inquiry and collaboration."
