We are being told from all directions that there is no purpose to our life; there is nothing more than living for today; there is no design behind our existence in this universe. But there is Truth that overcomes this emptiness: We Are Loved! Jesus seeks us out, and loves so deeply that He chose to give up His life to a cruel death on a cross so we can live. He reaches out to us with Grace that is bigger than anything else we can experience in this life. We have purpose in Him: to love God and love others. When we keep our sight on that purpose, on His way of doing life, we are able to extend that same Grace and Love to those around us.

At one time, wearing a cross on clothing, jewelry and accessories identified the wearer as a follower of Christ. While the image of a cross may have lost some meaning in becoming a fashion trend, the message of what Jesus did on The Cross is as relevant today as it ever has been. Staying focused on this message and its power in our lives is the key to a better way to live. This is why we have chosen a sight as our logo. We are aiming for something; for Someone. We are building a community that is seeking authentic relationship with God and our fellow humans. This means we are honest and recognize our weaknesses, failures, and tendency to focus on ourselves and our circumstances, but know we can always turn our sight back to the One who has given us a better way to live.
