"The story of Ms. Wondermaker Cards begins with a very naked 14-foot Christmas tree when Mary Landry and her family hosted a holiday open house in their new home in the year 2002. Guests were encouraged to make an ornament with supplies included in the invitation and bring it to decorate the tree—the idea was a big hit and it became a yearly tradition. Years when the open house didn’t happen, Mary continued to send cards to family and friends that encouraged active participation to celebrate the wonder of the holiday season. That’s when the cards began to spin, walk and carry secret messages. 

These card formats draw you in to experience the wonder of the moment, which is not exclusive to Christmastime. Now Mary is making these unique greeting card styles available throughout the year, starting with a limited quantity for Valentine's Day. She will be introducing more designs for general occasions and other holidays as 2014 unfolds. 

Mary earned her design chops at RI School of Design but she is not alone in this effort. The whole family contributes illustrations to the cards.
