Description
Three full day, individually guided free range Wild Boar hunt for two on our BalletMet Board Member's private 5000 acre ranch located 30 miles east of Laredo in the famous South Texas Brush Country. One boar and two javalina may be taken by each hunter. Bring your own rifle or one will be provided. 100 yard rifle range with marksmanship and firearm instruction. All food, beverage, and equipment will be provided. This is not a commercial hunting operation, but a real working ranch/private hunting camp with basic but very functional accommodations including central cookhouse, bunk house, freezers, hot running water, electricity, and shower. Hang out by the mesquite wood camp fire under the stars and share stories of the day's adventures, while enjoying mesquite fired prime ribeyes. Because this is fair chase, free range hunting, no guarantee of success can be made even though many boars are taken each year. However, be assured you will have a great adventure!!
Special Instructions
Trip can be scheduled on a mutally agreeable time between March and September 2014 over a Thursday thru Sunday, with arrival on Wednesday afternoon and departure Sunday afternoon. The earlier the better because temps can be hot in the summer. Details will be worked out individually and will be flexible. Each hunter will need to purchase a non-resident Texas hunting license ($58) and airfare to San Antonio or Laredo. Game will be dressed, quartered, and frozen, but any taxidermy or further processing expense/shipping is not included. Hunters will need to sign a release of liability form.
