Taters is an 8-year-old, 10-pound Westie/Chi mix who came to us from the Salinas Animal Shelter in 2009. She suffered from severe allergies, and her coat was sparse and her skin was red, thickened, itchy and uncomfortable. It has taken years of trial and error, but Taters has finally found relief thanks to a combination of special diet and medications. She is now a happy little character who enjoys meeting new people and running errands with her foster mom. Taters is house trained and crate trained, and gets along nicely with respectful cats. She's looking for a special adopter who can keep her on her strict diet and medication regimen to ensure her health and happiness.
